SPECIALTIES

  • Maybe you’ve been worried more than usual, or you generally struggle with a sense of unease and uncertainty. If you’re seeking therapy for anxiety, we’ll talk about how your anxiety shows up in your body, impacts your thinking, and sometimes leads to behaviors that may no longer be serving you.

I pull from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, body-focused, and trauma-informed practices to build a treatment plan with you to shift and reduce your anxiety symptoms.

  • Self-esteem takes shape from a variety of factors, but for so many folx in our generations our sense of worthiness and value are impacted by external factors. Things like our standards of beauty, media messaging about ‘success,’ expectations for what we’re ‘supposed’ to do or have accomplished.

When our ideas about who we are and how we’re doing clash with these external factors, that can leave us feeling pretty shitty.

Where does your sense of self and worthiness come from? Does that still feel like a fit for you? Or are those factors causing more hurt and self-doubt than you’d like?

If you’re seeking therapy to improve your self-esteem, I look forward to walking alongside you as you expand your relationship with yourself.

  • Sometimes things just feel ‘blah.’

If you’ve lost your sense of enthusiasm about your life, your relationships, your job - it could be a sign that something’s not working for you anymore. Therapy can be a supportive space to reduce feelings of dissatisfaction, disinterest, and disengagement in your life.

Together we’ll explore your values, passions, doubts, and patterns to get an idea of how you can start to live your life in a way that feels more authentic and meaningful.

  • I specialize in providing therapy for women who work in historically male-dominated spaces, such as entertainment, tech, law, and business.

In our work together, we’ll create room for you to sit with what it’s like for you to move through these spaces. How do power, privilege, racial and gender dynamics impact your professional identity and experience?

If it’s change you’re seeking - or just a place to feel seen and heard - I’ll do my best to support you as you harness your inherent strengths and the strengths of your communities to make movement.

  • Burnout - like everything else - shows up differently for different people. This can look like irritability, overwhelm, emotional exhaustion, and reduced interest or motivation.

Or maybe you’re just tired of the status quo and are ready to shake things up, both in your career and your personal life.

If you’ve come to therapy to reduce burnout, we’ll get to know how that looks for you and build on your existing strengths (yes, you have them!) to move through the ‘stuckness’ burnout can bring on.

  • I know - this can go hand-in-hand with ‘burnout.’ But hear me out on this one.

Do you ever step into your work environment and feel less than? Less capable. Less respected. Less deserving. Less like you belong there.

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the idea of trying to ‘progress’ in your field, whatever that looks like? Have you run into systemic barriers in your industry, like racism, sexism, ableism, patriarchal norms, or ageism?

Maybe you just have high expectations for yourself and this sometimes leaves you feeling like you could buckle from the stress of trying to do your work or move into the field you’re most passionate about.

Let’s get into it and get curious about how this area of your life could feel differently for you.

VALUES-DRIVEN CARE

This practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, sex-positive, and honors all bodies and identities.

I am committed to questioning and challenging systems of white supremacy, as well as my own ongoing anti-racist work and education.

I emphasize transparency in an effort to increase my clients’ understanding of themselves and the therapy process, and to share information that increases their ability to advocate for their needs.

I believe that therapy should center and be responsive to the many layers of your identity, and should take into account the context of your unique lived experience.

I feel strongly that therapy can be a safer space to explore and challenge how patriarchal, capitalist systems negatively impact our sense of safety, our sense of self, and our worldview.
